Walk the lovely Grass Point trail through varying habitats of beach, foreshore, mixed Eucalypt woodland and open grassland in the company of one of Tasmania's leading birdwatchers. Learn about and seek out the birds that inhabit the area and possibly see some of the seasonal residents of the area, such as Satin Flycatcher and Swift Parrot.
Karen is a birding guide with Inala Nature Tours and a member of the BirdLife Tasmania Executive Committee.
Andrew is an Adjunct Researcher within the School of Natural Sciences at the University of Tasmania, as well as a guide with Inala Nature Tours and a consultant ornithologist. He has published 38 peer-reviewed journal articles on pollination ecology, invasive species, and the impacts of forest harvesting and fire on birds.
