Take a walk with renowned broadcaster, writer and ecologist Sally Bryant through some dry Sclerophyll forest and open grassland at Dennes Hill Nature Reserve on North Bruny. Learn about the valuable Forty-spotted Pardalote Habitat on this land, the work done by the community to protect it and the other birds and animals that call this beautiful spot home.
Attendees will need sturdy shoes and a ‘reasonable’ level of fitness to get up the hill which is a steady climb at the beginning and will participate in forty-spot monitoring using the BirdLife Australia Birdata App.
Location: Meet and Park at Lauriston Farm, 321 Bruny Island Main Road, North Bruny ( Look for the festival flag )
